Surface structure of UV laser cutting machine

1. Laser

UV laser refers to ultraviolet laser. UV is the English name of ultraviolet laser. For example, infrared laser is generally referred to as IR laser.

2. Laser wavelength

The 355nm wavelength is the wavelength range of the ultraviolet laser. According to different processing requirements, there are also wavelengths such as 303, 320, 375, and 400nm. It is an important indicator that determines whether the material can be effectively processed by this wavelength laser.

 

3. Rated power

10-20W, usually the application in this power range is mainly for cutting and drilling applications. In theory, the higher the power of the laser with the same thickness of material, the higher the processing efficiency. However, for some applications, the higher the power of the laser, the effect cannot be achieved. For example, for ink etching applications of thermally sensitive materials, low-power UV lasers have better beam quality and can meet the processing requirements, but high power cannot. Of course, low-power lasers less than 10W can also achieve cutting, but the relative efficiency is low.

4. Linear motor workbench

Positioning accuracy, repetitive progress, CCD automatic positioning accuracy: Generally, UV laser cutting machines use linear motors to ensure accuracy. Of course, some customers do not require high accuracy and use servo motors, which have a large price difference. In addition to the positioning function, the CCD camera also has the function of real-time viewing, which is also an important guarantee for processing accuracy. Similarly, if the customer's machining accuracy requirements are low, these can be replaced according to demand.

5. Processing range

The value is the size of the material, the processing range of the workbench, each manufacturer has its own standard size, and the processing size can also be changed according to the actual needs of the customer's products.

6. Single processing format

Many customers do not understand the difference between the single processing format and the processing range. This is because the ultraviolet laser cutting machine uses the galvanometer to scan and peel back and forth. The single processing format refers to the effective scanning range of the galvanometer. The smaller the scanning range of the galvanometer, the smaller the focused spot and the smaller the thermal influence. The scanning range used for ultraviolet laser cutting machines is usually 40*40mm/60*60mm, etc. Of course, customers who do not require high processing accuracy can choose the range of 110*110mm, and the same processing accuracy requirements can be 15* 15mm scanning lens.

7. Processing index

Processing dimensional accuracy, processing position accuracy, processing edge: These indexes are the factors that measure the accuracy of UV laser cutting machine processing. Customers can determine whether to use UV nanosecond cutting equipment or UV picoseconds according to their own needs and see if this condition is met. Equipment processing is an important indicator to measure the thermal impact, processing accuracy, and processing quality.
